WOW offers exclusive walk training programs for beginning to full fledged competitive walkers. As with the marathon, there is a competitive Racewalk and a Nordic walk division for the Portland Half Marathon The WOW program for beginners will begin in April with the Spring session of the 5K, 10K, Half marathon training program (12 weeks), and roll into the June program (16 weeks).
